I wrote the following for myself over a year ago and I thought it may be beneficial to someone now. I am grateful that the abuse, chaos and lies stopped. I am grateful that he has a new source of supply to use, for as long as it may last. (Even though I warned her!) Most likely he will be back in touch at some point down the road, so I am grateful for this space now to concentrate on furthering my life and making me stronger. And if I never hear from him again, I am okay with that. I am hopeful though that this was the end of it, because one thing that I know for sure is that he will never change, but I have. ~J
