IF FANGIRLING EQUATES TO losing yourself then I can tolerate it. But if its sole purpose is to copy what you see on tv and in the internet, then I kinda have a problem with that. I can never fully deal with the fact that people say I am famous or Im a celebrity especially when media and showbiz leaders run this society into disorganized empty noise. To be like that is nowhere near my lifes goal. Being in a position is a blessing, yes, but its both a responsibility and a curse. One that anyone has to constantly deal with everyday. I am a person too. Everyday we can be the kind of people who just wait in front of our hyperactive news feeds thinking that Facebook and social medias got our backs. We look for the next important issue to talk about. Or the next worst people to hate on. Or the next funny meme or headline to make us feel virtually complete. Or the next #hashtag to bandwagon. But after that, what is really next? Do we change our lives for the better and learn something new? Do we inspire others to do the same? Do you get the point? We are all fangirls of this growing internet boiling-pot culture in someway or another. From normal students to meme comedians to politicians to national artists to scientists to spiritual leaders, we all obviously like this. Very, very much. And if were going to decide to lose ourselves in this virtual reality without much care for what we are all creating, just make sure that you can prepare yourself to like this new world that we are making. This is all easier said than done, of course. But a solution is right in front of us. Technology is the one of the best tools humanity has right now. Most especially when it is used as a mirror. So let us use it well, my fellow fangirls. Use it well.
