*** IF YOUR TAGGED IN THIS, YOUR INPUT IS IMPORTANT *** As most of you know I try to do what I can to help out with anything possible (from children with special needs, animals in need, or orgs that do amazing work for other people or animals). I feel bad because I try to split myself into too many pieces and never seem to ever accomplish all that I set out to do. I came up with a possible way to help all of you that try to raise funds for your family or org. but end up paying all kinds of fees or not be able to make sales because you cant take credit cards ect. I have gotten my hands on a web script that is a clone of the site Etsy. You can set up a shop and sell your stuff and if you have PayPal accounts, then you can utilize them to pay whatever fees your Paypal account is set up for, and my site itself will NOT have any fees for those that qualify. This script is not cheap as it runs over $4000, but I have it and set up a demo area for you to see it. I also figure that in the spirit of making people do good things, then I can make subscriptions that if they do a good deed and can prove it, then they get a month or X amount of sales free of fees. This means that the site will be totally fee free with the exception for those that didnt do something good and just want to pay a fee to be able to sell. The reason I tagged each of you is because I went through my friends list here and tried to get all that I know that either have a child with special needs or if you have a org. that needs to raise money to keep you going, because I need to ask you to take a peek at the site and I set up a very basic survey so that I can see if this is worth the time to do. I wont lie, but this is a tremendous amount of work and I really dont have that available at the moment because I am desperately trying to setup my other sites so that I can generate an income, but I will set it all up if enough people think they will utilize it regularly and/or if you think its a good idea. If you feel that it doesnt appeal to you then thats fine as well, but PLEASE go to the survey page and fill in your answers AFTER looking at the demo. You do NOT have to put in any personal info just your name so that I know if you did it and that I dont send duplicate emails. At the same time, the answers are private so once you submit it, I am the only one who sees it. Since I have no money coming in at the moment, I will have to figure out where to cover that money to pay for the hosting. PLEASE, if you are tagged here, take 2 minutes to do this because this isnt benefiting me in any way, but it may be a avenue for you. This isnt something that is a guarantee that I will be able to do, but I wanted to get a good idea at this moment. So if you are tagged here, then I already feel that you are a person/org. that may be able to utilize it.
