IM AN ASHAMED AUSTRALIAN - How can anyonebe a proud Australian as long as we have State Premiers such as Campbell Newman - who consider themselves above thelaw - and a Prime Ministeer, Tony Abbott who has already demeaned Australias standing across the World and who is intent on destroying our environment, selling off finite resources at give-away prices, allowing miners to terrorise farmers and rape the land, hiding information from the public, bullying our national broadcaster and suggesting its not needed, locking up children and their parents who are at the most traumatised point in their lives, threatening arts institutions (and probably others) with withdrawal of public funding if they refuse sponsorship on ethical grounds (in other words, grounds that dont align with his immoral, regressive and unethical agenda), putting out of work thousands of public servants, failing to support iconic national industries while spending millions on propping up privileged elites - such as the higher end private schools - and in the ultimate sycophantic treason - reverting to allegiance to some old woman 12000 miles away whos family had to change its name in order not to upset the English people whose ruling family it claims to be. And you want me to be a proud Australian? What is wrong with you guys. WE ALL SHOULD BE HANGING OUR HEADS IN SHAME - THAT THIS GOVERNMENT WAS ELECTED ONLY SHOWS THE HEDONISTIC, SELFISH & IGNORANT SELF-CENTREDNESS OF MUCH OF THE AUSTRALIAN POPULATION - NOTHING OF WHICH TO BE PROUD.
