IM DONE!!! I finished my crafty batty display for tomorrows Science of Superheroes day at the library! Im focusing on the real superpowers of animals, specifically bats. This is just the crafty part, Im going to have a bunch of supplies from Game and Fishs bat resource trunk as well! After the kids are done learning about bats, theyll get to make their own superhero bat masks to wear around as they check out the rest of the festivities. :) Kat, when she heard me sighing with contentment when I was finished, had her turn to freak out when she realized she only had ONE NIGHT to make her costume! So, she totally rocked this out and made an awesome cape and cat woman glasses! Dude, together we make an AWESOME crafting team! I cant wait for tomorrow! (And now I will put the scissors away, to be hidden from view for at least a week).
