IMAGINE you are a jihadist … you are a jihadist because you were raised to believe Americans are Satan Incarnate. As a warrior you get captured on the battle field - but in prison-camp, you learn there are American Muslims, that you may pray to al-Lah 5 times daily and also read your Quran … and you are sleeping on a bed far better than that cave you came from. Meals are regular - something youve never had in your entire life - and also ḥalāl (حَلَال lawful). You are restricted in movement - as a war prisoner expects - yet you are also treated with respect. All this is constant and sincere. Whats that going to do to your opinion of America … and Americans?
