IMF: will release upgraded economic forecasts later today. UK growth up at 2.4% from 1.9%. WSJ Hilsenrath: calling for the Fed to taper another 10B at next weeks meeting. Econ. Min. Amari: Japan escaped deflation but some risk it could return. NZ CPI: up 0.1% q/q, 1.6% y/y versus 1.4% previous. China: Injects 255B Yuan via open market operations. Currencies have been mixed lately but sudden demand for USD kicked in earlier and forced majors lower. Euro down in the low 3500s while Dollar Swiss into new highs above 9130. Metals holding near short term highs and likely to push higher with Gold potentially testing 1270-80. Crude Oil still seeing demand but lacks upside momentum to push it into new highs for now. Equities remaining extremely bullish with some opening into new highs while others moved higher overnight. Dow futures at 16400s. Asian equities ended mostly higher with Nikkei 225 up 0.99% while Hang Seng closed 0.45% in the green. Shanghai comp. up 0.86%.
