She has studied it for 11 years and taught a young girls group for the last 4 years. She calls herself a happy girl and quite frankly her smile melts me. She has no allergies at all to animals or the environment, and she is willing to attend church with a host family. She likes cooking and baking, family activities, and aerobics, dancing and school activities so she appears to be fully engaged. She is an only child and her parents are older, in their mid 50s. Her parents speak of her maturity level and confidence as well as her calmness and sweetness. She loves younger children so being with a family with siblings, as long as she would have a quiet space would be ideal. She should arrive in time for the January semester to start or slightly thereafter. Thanks for your praying about this. Some preliminary details are that host families need to provide three meals a day and a quiet place to sleep and study as well as transportation to and from high school. The students pay for their own personal items and entertainment as well as school fees and extra curricular things. They also are covered medically so no worries there. We have full time staff and a local coordinator who would oversee this placement so the family would have support and instructions.
