Catering Manager Job Description: • Responsible and accountable for Camps Catering operations and facilities management for 2500 multinational work force in 4 Camps and 2 Central Kitchens. • Managing and overseeing the catering services facilities and delivery at all camps. • Supervising the kitchen and mess staff to ensure a satisfactory performance of assigned job and lead the catering department of Camps, Kitchen and Transportation of meals. • Developing and administering the policies of the catering facility and preparing, maintaining and submitting daily, weekly, monthly inspection reports and records as required. • Provide orientation training to new hired candidates. • Identify problems area with existing Catering operation and develop accordingly. • Putting together a development plan to improve quality of catering services. • Coordinating with unit Camp boss & supervisors for smooth & effective functioning of Catering units & camp Facilities. • Ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly followed. • Keeping financial and administrative records. Catering staff control & cost control to achieve the best productivity and maintaining high standards services for workers satisfaction. • Make recommendations to improve Catering results. • Monitoring supply needs and ordering food and supplies as required. • Ensuring food services meet health, hygiene and quality standards and also meet workers needs and satisfaction.
