IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION! Upcoming October 11th Free Family History Seminar!!! Janis shares: This is to remind you that you may now go to fhsgp.weebly to view details about the family history seminar scheduled for October 11th at the Grants Pass LDS Church. The seminar is jointly sponsored by the Family History Center and the Grants Pass Genealogical Society and is completely FREE (although an optional lunch is offered for $3.00). At the website you can view class offerings and the instructors who will teach them, and you can also register to attend--no money required. Pre-registered attendees and on-the-spot registrants can sign in at the event starting at 8:00 AM. At 9:00 AM the Living History Players will portray Amos Voorhies, pioneer publisher of the Grants Pass Daily Courier, and his wife Lulu. Classes on many different aspects of genealogy will continue starting at 10:00 AM. At 3:45 PM, there will be a drawing for raffle prizes.
