Akan tetapi, euphoria tersebut tidak berlangsung lama karena pada sesi Jumat emas tergerus hingga 60 persen total gain yang dicapainya. Ada beberapa kemungkinan mengingat pola seperti ini, diantaranya emas kemungkinan masih akan eksis bergerak antara 1300 hingga 1330-an, selama tidak terjadi penembusan low terakhir (1291.30).
