INSTEAD OF WORRYING, TRUST GOD ...Let him...rely upon his God. Isaiah 50:10 NKJV One morning a man received four long-distance calls before he even got out of bed. Everybody had problems they wanted solved right now. He told his wife to forget about breakfast, only to discover his car wouldnt start. So he called a taxi. When he got in the taxi he yelled, Lets go! The driver asked, Where do you want me to take you? He shouted, I dont care, Ive got problems everywhere! Do you feel like that today? Have you done all you know to do, but the situation hasnt improved? Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon his God. Note the word name. God values His good name because it represents His power, His character and His faithfulness. So when you pray for anything in His name, youre trusting His power, His character and His faithfulness. Its like standing on a rock! We spend so much of our lives worrying about yesterday and tomorrow, yet one is buried and the others unborn. Theres not a thing we can do about either - except let them steal today right out of our hands. The Psalmist said, This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24 NKJV) So seize this day with its blessings and challenges and live every moment of it. Dont long for someday. God is...a very present help... (Psalm 46:1 NKJV) Just hand your worries to Him and let Him take care of them for you. Good morning. Have a worry free day.
