INTERNS WANTED: International Arts Festival (Unpaid- School Credit Only) *Donor Relations/Sponsorship &Campaign Management Intern(s) *Web Design/Graphic Design Intern *Special Events Intern *PR & Social Media Intern The Big Picture is a boutique lifestyle branding company, whose main undertaking is transforming Liberia into a festival destination. Our main task is rebranding, and we have developed Liberia’s first international arts and music festival and a game-changing campaign that will launch careers, change Liberia’s investment climate, and transform Liberia from a location to a destination. The main goal of this internship is to attract sponsors, form partnerships, and raise funds for the campaign and festival. We’re seeking a team of 4-5 talented and driven interns to assist with the design and development of campaign materials, public relations, events, and fundraising efforts for the festival under our agency’s direction. Candidates must be highly self-disciplined and accountable to deadlines and deliverables to ensure that we meet the timeline goals. This is a wonderful opportunity to receive experience working under the direction of an agency to promote a highly creative event. Web Design Intern: The primary focus will be on the design of the campaign’s website, campaign’s logo, and branding materials. Some tasks may include redesigning of the brochure, event flyers, lower third TV graphics and slides, and additions to the websites. Donor Relations/Sponsorship & Campaign Management Interns: This internship is an opportunity to gain valuable real-work experience in the development and execution of sponsorship and fundraising strategy. This intern will also create and implement a crowdfunding campaign. Tasks will focus on building diversity into outreach efforts, which in turn will build a strong base of different types of supporters and partners. PR & Social Media Intern: Media Intern will be responsible for social media, public relations, and newsletter management. Tasks will include drafting materials for the media, such as news releases and media advisories, creating and updating social media accounts, creating press kits, and working with the Special Events Intern on event management and planning. Special Events Intern: The Special Events intern will gain experience in developing logistics, liaising with donors and executing both small fundraising, networking, donor appreciation events, while working closely with the Donor Relations/Special Intern and PR Intern. These internship opportunities are unpaid, but college credit may be available for participation.
