IS OUR GOVERNMENT PROACTIVE OR REACTIVE ? : Ghana, Ashaiman, in the greater accra region to be precise, yesterday witnessed a violent protest over deplorable state of roads in the area. This protest and other similar unfortunate happenings seems to have reached a record high in recent times. One of such issue that has reached a record high is the incessant fires that has taken hold of our major markets. Successive governments have not help in finding a solution to these rather avoidable protest which sometimes turns bloody. Had government taken proactive measures through heeding to the demands of the people, some of these fires and protest that has characterised the governance of our country will not have happened. Instead, government only respond after harm had been done to properties and lives.
