Ice Wine Black Tea - The base tea for Ice Wine come from Sir Lanka mountain top about 5000 to 7600 feet above sea level. It is a high quality Orange Pekeo tea has a touch of astringency, the scent of floral bouquet. The tea has mixture of golden raisins, White Tea, natural flavoring and Ontario Ice Wine. Typically Vidal Grape is used to make Ice Wine as it has a thick skin that can withstand cold elements. Grapes are picked after the first frost and frozen for two days. It then goes though a few weeks of fermentation, then few months of aging. To drink this tea, you can accentuate the grapes taste by adding a few fresh grapes sliced.
