Id like to do a little venting here. Theres various Sheltie rescue groups online and theyll post how theyve been called in for a hoarding situation and have taken in XX number of shelties. I keep checking their sites and no dogs or rather the same dogs are there. Then theyll start posting how these hoarded dogs are being adopted. WTF?! How did they get adopted out when they were never on their websites? I suspect croneyism is alive and well. So it makes me question the ethics of these rescue groups. Are they helping shelties find good homes? Undoubtedly. Are they being made fairly available to the public? The jury is still out.
