Id like to tell you a little story about a superhero and his band of angels...the superhero is my husband, Kristian Haugvoll who was involved in a car accident that should have killed him. As he was bleeding out on the side of the road, he decided that dying wasnt an option and he reached down and fashioned his own tourniquet!! And then along came an angel in the form of Troy Cagle and 3 doctors/nurses who I still dont even know. Troy saved my husbands life right there on the side of I-10. There are not enough words for me to thank Troy for this amazing gift. My husbands will to live and get back to us and Troys heroic efforts are something I will carry with me until the day I die. Im sad that we are going through this...Im mad as hell that someone was drinking and driving and cost Kristian his leg, but through this tragedy Ive learned about unconditional, TRUE, unbreakable LOVE. Ive witnessed and heard with my own ears what friendship sounds like and my faith in humanity has been restored. I want to thank everyone who is and who has promised to support my family and I thank God above for giving Kristian and I another day to dance.
