If I listen to any Peter Gabriel song then I get a knee jerk reaction & have to listen to Biko. And then I found a nice comment from another listener on youtube...why songs like this never die! Humanity under siege. The names and places change but the song remains the same. One set of humans dehumanizing another in the name of God or Gold or Revenge or Justice or Pleasure or a thousand other so called reasons, declarations, pronouncements, tenets, clauses, issues, positions, situations or scenarios. I offer this song to all of humanity and especially those under particular duress this July evening whether they be in Jerusalem or Gaza, Mexico or Texas, Mosul or Baghdad. Come on people now, shine on your brother, time to love one another right now.
