If any of you guys are still up, heres the best live stream at the moment. All the other streams are far away from the action. The primary protest has been dispersed, and theres just a few stragglers now. Only one confirmed act of violence so far, namely a single molotov thrown at a Chinese restaurant. It started a very small fire that was swiftly put out by the peaceful demonstrators. Around a dozen demonstrators who did not disperse. Two arrests so far and an additional to detainees, but to my knowledge these are all just demonstrators who did not disperse, not hostile demonstrators. Police action has been very limited. Around two dozen tear gas canisters so far and maybe two or three salvos of rubber bullets. Minor use of the LRAD, but not much. Maybe a single flash bang, but they arent sure since there is a lightning storm in the region. Overall, Im impressed. No excessive force from the police, and no mentionable violence from protesters. You can tell the good stuff is over because right now all the press is standing in a circle trying to determine if a spent shell was smoke or tear gas. lol
