If given the chance to do it over, I’d do the same thing - straight by the book. I call it defending a struggling, long abused single mother who had the courage to leave a nasty relationship for the mental and physical safety of her minor children. The actual papers, as opposed to what the one embarrassed by one’s own documented bad acts, proves exactly what happened - and why. Short of my friend’s divorce business, I simply have had zero contact with the son’s father. Episodically our paths cross when he picks your child up from my home address. He attempted to have me arrested in 2007 for training, protecting and serving the mother of his children. He attempted to bully me away from her by threatening a parole violation-arrest. He’s slandered me sideways to my friend and her kids’ camp. I have no desire to even waive or say hi to him, so I don’t.
