If the Lakers want to win another championship in L.A. now instead of taking a couple years to rebuild their franchise in the years to come. So far there is a opportunity for the club to do so. The biggest concern for the team was their coach Mike Dantoni! He wasnt the right fit for Kobe and the rest of the Laker franchise! This is their best opportunity to land a championship caliber coach and being successful! So far I believe the best fit for this team is either Byron Scott or Derek Fisher! Scott has a pretty impressive resume on his coaching career. Hes been to back to back NBA Finals in the early 2000s and he was awarded Coach of the Year back in 2008 with the New Orleans Hornets! He was recently fired by the Cleveland Cavaliers with 3 unsuccessful seasons with the club. It wasnt his fault but they had no super stars and LeBron left the club before he was hired. I think hes our best fit for the Lakers. Fisher on the other hand has no coaching experience but hes a huge fan favorite for Lakers fans! Honestly it would be really sick if he became our coach but I dont think itll happen. Other then that the Lakers have a ton of money to spend for free agents! Names such as Carmelo Anthony, Kyle Lowry, Eric Bledsoe, Greg Monroe, Rudy Gay, and Trevor Ariza! I dont think Carmelo will sign with the Lakers but we have a chance. All the rumors weve been hearing about Kevin Love being traded to the Lakers is a long shot since we dont have anyone to trade except our draft pick (7th). Unless the Timberwolves do a sign and trade with Pau Gasol and our draft pick. Thats the only way we could get Kevin Love now! Kobe wants that 6th ring so bad! When I ran into him I asked him personally if the Lakers were going to get Dwight Howard. He said these exact words back to me I dont think about that. One year later the Lakers got Dwight Howard and Kobe said on ESPN that he knew the Lakers were going to get him. Lately he said on twitter Shit season next year is going to be epic! He knows something that no one else knows! Something good is going to happen in Lakerland. Something! We just have to wait and see. Because Bryants career is winding down and this is his last shot of glory.
