If the people are silent, the stones will cry out. touregypt.net/featurestories/merenptah.htm From the New International Version of our Bible: The words of Jesus. I tell you, he replied, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out. Too many people are silent and the stones do cry out. The more our Political Leaders, Religious Leaders, Priests, Theologians, Scholars, and Professors say the Bible is only stories written by man, the more the guys and girls of Archaeology prove them wrong. The people and places of the Bible existed and the events of the Bible occurred. People, places, events, and nations in the Bible recorded in other places than in the Bible which prove parts of the Bible are about actual people, places, events, and nations. Sebek-khu Stele in the Manchester Museum, Abydos c.1860 BC Egyptian hieroglyphs Records the earliest known Egyptian military campaign in Retjenu, including Sekmem Statue of Idrimi of Alalakh. in the British Museum , c.1500 BC Akkadian cuneiform Records the earliest certain cuneiform reference to Canaan The Merneptah Stele in Cario built in 1209 BC in Egypt, archaeologists translate a set of hieroglyphs on Line 27 as Israel, such that it represents the first documented instance of the name Israel in the historical record, and the only record in Ancient Egypt. The Victory Stele is unique. It was usurped by from the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III at Thebes, and is dated to the third day of the third month of the third season so it may have been written around the summer of 1207. In it, Merenptah lists enemy conquests, but the most interesting reference is a very rare mention of Israel. It may be the oldest non biblical reference to that country. Because of this, Merenptah has often been thought to be the pharaoh of the Exodus, though modern opinion leans against such an identification. In part, the stele states that: The princes are prostrate saying: Shalom! Not one of the Nine Bows lifts his head: Tjehenu is vanquished, Khatti at peace, Canaan is captive with all woe. Ashkelon is conquered, Gezer seized, Yanoam made nonexistent; Israel is wasted, bare of seed, Khor is become a widow for Egypt. All who roamed have been subdued. By the King of Upper and Lower Egypt, Banere-meramun, Son of Re, Merenptah, Content with Maat, Given life like Re every day. Our Political Leaders, Religious Leaders, Priests, Theologians, Scholars, and Professors say Israel was small tribes of wondering people at this time, not a nation. Egypt says they destroyed Israel at this time, but after this time, Egypt no longer has control in the areas of Israel. I do not believe the war against Israel went as well for them as they published. bible-history/archaeology/egypt/2-israel-stela-bb.html The Israel Stela also known as the Merneptah Stele is a slab of rock which was found in 1896 at Thebes, Egypt. The monument was found where it had once stood in ancient Egypt, at the temple that honored Pharaoh Merneptah. Some refer to the stone as the Victory Stele because it records the military campaigns and victories of Pharaoh Merneptah, the son of the mighty Ramesses II who reigned in Egypt around 1215 BC., during the time of the Judges in Israel. The writing on the stele is in hieroglyphs and very clearly mentions the name of Israel on it. Israel was considered by the Pharaoh of Egypt important enough to mention as a significant victory. The Hebrews had conquered the land of Canaan around 1400 B.C. Bubastite Portal at Karnak Karnak c. 925 BC Egyptian hieroglyphs Records the conquests and military campaigns in c.925 BCE of Shoshenq I, of the Twenty-second Dynasty, identified with the biblical Shishaq. Towns identified include Rafah, Megiddo, and Ajalon. Mesha stele in the Louvre , Dhiban, Jordan c.850 BC Moabite language Describing the victories of Moabite king Mesha over the House of Omri (interpreted to mean the Kingdom of Israel (Samaria)). Reference to the House of David; also mentions Yahweh, Bezer and others. One of the only two known artifacts containing the Moabite dialect of Canaanite languages (the second is the El-Kerak Inscription) Kurkh Monoliths British Museum , Üçtepe, Bismil c.850 BC Assyrian cuneiform The description contains the name A-ha-ab-bu Sir-ila-a-a which was a reference to Ahab of Israel. it is significant as the only possible known reference to the term Israel in Assyrian and Babylonian records. Black Obelisk of Shalmaneser III British Museum , Nimrud c.825 BC Assyrian cuneiform Contains what is thought to be the earliest known picture of a biblical figure: Jehu son Omri (mIa-ú-a mar mHu-um-ri-i), or Jehus ambassador, kneeling at the feet of Shalmaneser III. The Bible is true. Our Media and our Leaders lie. Why is history important ? It is only important if you do not want to repeat the mistakes of the past. If you are not hated and persecuted for being a Christian, work harder. If the world can not tell you are a Christian you are not doing the job God gave you. New International Version Mark 16:15 He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. As much as anything else in the Bible, the persecution and hatred of the Christians proves the truth of the Bible and the truth of the New Testament. New International Version 2 Timothy 3:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, If you are a follower of the Lord Jesus, you will come under attack! That is His promise to His followers, John 15:18; 1 John 3:13. No one likes to think about being hated for their faith, but you shouldnt be surprised when the devil and His crowd attacks you and treats you like they treated Jesus. In our world with each word and with each action you can spread love in our world or do something evil. Sharia Law is the War Against Women. Sharia Law is the most evil thing ever created by man. The hatred atheist and Muslims have for each Christian prove that God exists and that Christ lived and died for our sins. With out that, atheists and Muslims would have no reason to be concerned for us. As long as the United Nations has nations belonging to it that support and operate under Sharia Law, the United Nations has no respect for Human Life, Human Rights, or Freedom. In the United States we need the Bill of Rights more than we ever did because in this world and in Washington, DC there is so much evil and so many lies, much of it from our Media and our Politicians. No Democrats. God Bless America.
