If there is one thing I have realised in my 40 odd years on this planet, it is that those who have less are most often the kindest. Therefore, never do something for a wealthy person with the expectation that he or she will reward you fairly of their own accord. Very often, they have acheived wealth through stinginess and taking advantage of others. That those who have more will often take advantage of ones kindness. That victims dont see kindness as kindness, but as the world owing them, and will most often not even express gratitude, but will often bite the very hand that feeds them. That those we express kindness to, most often cannot repay us, while some have the means, but will not. That the kindness we receive, is from people entirely separate from those we have been kind too... This is how the universe shows us that we must be unconditionally kind, and be kind from the heart, with no expectation of anything in return. This is how the universe shows us that true wealth is in our hearts, and not within any material possessions. We can either find these lessons in the events which occur in our daily lives, and grow, or we can choose to be bitter. It is always our choice... ~
