If there was one thing that has been under assault since I started to be aware of my status as a human being, its been my hope. Hopelessness is a crafty fiend that often disguises itself with thoughts such as lets be rational or dont get your hopes up too much. Listen, people that have done great things, either for good or bad, have almost always never been rational or in some cases reasonable. Im not against practical wisdom, but I dislike this pedestal we as a society put it on. In fact, there are some people who profit off of others preaching a rational gospel (for lack of a better term). I say dream and hope big, because hope isnt the goal, its the first steps taken towards your own measure of freedom.
