If this isnt allowed admin please remove. My uncles 2000 town car was stolen off his property on Arkansas St. In Camden on Saterday.. A lady seen a blue flat bed truck pick the car up and my uncle immediately reported it stolen and gave the police the information he had. The car the police later found. It was at buddies wrecker in Camden. This is where the story gets confusing... I dont want to post last names due to pending charges. But a guy named Joe said he owned the house and the car and sold it to another guy named Pat. Then this Pat guy sold it to a Bobby who then sold it to buddies wrecker service. The cop investigating the case ask if my uncle wanted to press charges on all parties involved and he said yes. My uncle then contacted buddies wrecker and was trying to get his car back and buddies wrecker told him he did not care if the car was stolen or not he would have to pay him to get his car back. There had been NO bill of sales from any parties at this time. My uncle is refusing to BUY his stolen vehicle back. Since the investigation has been ongoing the DA has issues arrest warrants for two are the parties involved and said they will not press charges on buddies wrecker and that my uncle will have to pay him to get the car back and at this time we do not know the amount they want. After the fact these people have forged bill of sales none from my uncle. The police said there is no question the car was stolen. the police are in possession the cars title (in my uncles name and keys). In our eyes my uncle SHOULD NOT have to pay anyone to get a STOLEN vehicle back and believe buddies should also face charges for receiving stolen property and concealing it since he will not return or allow my uncle to get his stolen vehicle. I do not believe because buddies is in good standing from the community that he should get off the hook for charges and as per the law Buddies CANNOT sell or do anything with the car since he is well aware the car is STOLEN. I do think it is also odd the police will charge the two black men involved but not the white man. They all should be charged equally as they all received and and sold stolen property and 3 of the people trespassed on private property (signs are stated clearly at the property) My uncle want this story shared and told and wants justice and his vehicle back! No one should have to go through this kinda mess! My uncle may have to hire attorney and he is contacting newspapers to try and get this story heard. This is plain and simple madness at this point. All he wants is all persons charged equally and his vehicle back in the same condition it was taken. Its sad when people SELL your vehicle off your OWN property. Theft needs to STOP
