If you always try to be someone that others will like, you’ll end up not having peace in your life. To have peace in our lives, we must listen to God so we can become who He wants us to be. We were created to rely on Him, to know His love for us, and trust that God has given us a new identity. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (II Corinthians 5:16, 17 NKJV)
