If you are doing the school drop off this morning please make sure your kids are buckled up correctly. Yesterday saw a couple of schools targeted by police who were checking child car restraints. Parents of children who were not restrained in a suitable approved child car restraint saw themselves fined $500 and receive 4 demerit points. This included children who has slipped the shoulder strap off, had their seat belt too loose or were sat in the front seat.
