While pregnant, Krissy Layne was battling pulmonary fibrosis and, as her health deteriorated, doctors were forced to deliver her precious son Jacob at 26 weeks. He started his NICU journey at 2 lbs 1 oz and seems to be making amazing progress. Shortly after the birth of her little one, it was evident that God had other plans for Krissy as she lost her fight with pulmonary fibrosis. Losing a loved one is never easy... I know first hand but I have also learned the beauty of silver linings. In this instance, the Layne family has a new angel and Jacob Brian Layne is one TUFF cookie!
