If you dont think wind chill is a valid concern...youve never been in a place with a lot of wind and/or cold winds! Think Tri-Cities, Wa. or much worse...Chicago. The coldest I personally recall is in the winter of 76 - I was working as a chef in Chicago, it was deadly cold and howling winds - and the radio guy (WLS) came on and said it was 87º below zero wind chill. We had to see for ourselves. Went out to the kitchen loading dock...threw a glass of water in the air and it hit the ground crashed as ICE! Now THAT is freakin cold! Now, I live in the South and rarely have to worry about anything even close to that! Thank Goodness!~
