You can read in English or Russian down bellow. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Missionary Vision of the Church of the Living God in the city of Budapest. There are people, living in Budapest, who are immigrants from the former Soviet Union. They are people of different nationalities, but all of them speak Russian. According to official figures, they add up to more than 10,000 people. According to unofficial information, however, the number is twice as big. Most of the immigrants have children or grandchildren, whom they would like to pass on their knowledge of the Russian language to. But everything costs a lot of money. In addition, there is quite a depressive spirit. Everything is penetrated by the old KGB system. Only people of Russian nationality are accepted into the circle. They are not interested in other nationalities. Moreover, a strong feeling of nationalism is perceived everywhere. Many Russianspeaking people in Budapest live in rather poor conditions and don’t have enough finances to pay for their children’s music, art or choreographic school. At the same time, every parent would like their children to grow in harmony and develop their talents. The church could fill the need. Moreover, children and their parents, through different activities at the kids and youth ministry, could be lead to God. Our church is very small and does not have any financial support from the outside. But God gave us a vision about people in the Body of Christ who are willing and able to carry out the work, and He would also provide the necessary funds. It may be that the Lord has already put into the heart of some brothers and sisters to do this type of work, while the others to finance it. Also, there is a huge number of Russianspeaking students in Budapest. They mainly come from the former Soviet Union to receive a European education. Still others come in search of a better life, or just searching themselves. In any case, they all need God. Unfortunately, we don’t have people in our community who would be able to the work with youth and adolescents. As the economy of Hungary is in a very bad situation, people have to work 10-12 hours a day, while getting paid the equivalent of 4 hours. In Hungary a salary of $500 is considered normal. Many people receive even less than that. It is very hard to live on this money. A monthly rent for one bedroom apartment is $300350, plus utilities. Food expenses are $ 150 per month, if you buy the cheapest products and cook yourself. For a person receiving a salary of $500, it is a luxury to go out for a coffee. Therefore, people who go to our church, work a lot in order to just survive. But we believe that in the Body of Christ, there are people whose hearts burn for working with youth, and that the means necessary to carry out this work will also be provided. Following is the vision for the kids ministry: We will carry out an advertising campaign about launching all sorts of activities with kids of different ages for their intellectual and physical development. The prices offered will be symbolic; for very poor families, though, it is going to be free of charge. These activities will be conducted in the building of our church this will break the barrier hindering people to step over the doorstep of the church. We will hold competitions and festivals for the participants of the kids groups. Gradually and gently, they will be introduced to the faith in God. Kids and their parents will be invited to the different church holidays, where they are going to meet with people from the church. As a result, friendships will be made; and people will come to God and to join the local church. The kids groups will be led by missionaries, under the authority of the local church pastor. The missionaries will also teach the Sunday school classes for children, and constantly pray, together with the church leaders, for the children and their parents. Members of the churches and missions that send missionaries to Budapest can also join in prayers. The youth ministry, in our opinion, should be conducted the following way: A group of missionaries will penetrate the environment of the Russianspeaking youth there are several ways known to us. The church members will help out with this as well. Then will follow friendships and socializing. The missionaries and involved church members will be standing in constant prayer for their new friends. A variety of youth programs will be created, according to the interests of the youth. Separate social circles are to be formed from these, which eventually will be transformed into groups that come to God and join the church. The ideal would be, if a leader arises in each of these groups. In other words, our goal is to create a number of youth groups, each with its own leader in charge, who are to be under the authority of the church. Work with youth will be carried out according to the plan offered by the School of Youth Leadership. The third area of ministry will involve children and youth taking care of the elderly. Once a month, young people will go to the homes of the senior members of our society and help around the house, also bringing bags with food. Once a month, children and youth will make a cultural program for the elderly at church. If necessary, an individual help will, too, be offered to the seniors. The local church will take upon itself the cost of help to the seniors. Kids and youth, together with the missionaries and ministers of the church will pray for the elderly. This way, they shall know God and join the church. The fourth area will target the Hungarian youth. English is taught at a high level in Hungarian schools, so all high school graduates (of course, to varying degrees) speak English. Many of them are looking for Englishlanguage communication, to improve their knowledge of the language. We need to make friends with them as well, and gradually bring them to Christ, by creating Englishspeaking home groups. In addition, there are quite a few Englishspeaking young people in Budapest who come from the UK and other European countries, and are still searching themselves. Some of them give lessons in English and this way earn their living. Englishspeaking missionaries could penetrate their environment in order to preach the Gospel and to bring to God the people in this category. Appendix: The cost of living of a missionary in Budapest Accommodation: 1bedroom apartment, for 2 girls or 2 guys, cost $300-400 per month 2 bedroom apartment $350-450 per month. Public transportation: $50 per month. Meals: $150 per month Internet and phone: $50 per month Total cost of 1 person per month: 400-650 USD (the amount depends on the level of housing the missionary chooses). ++++++++++++++++++++ Видение для развития детского подросткового и молодежного служения церкви живого Бога в г.Будапешт В Будапеште живут люди – выходцы из бывшего Советского Союза. Это люди разных национальностей, но все они знают русский язык. По официальным данным их более 10 тыс. Чел. По не официальным – в 2 раза больше. У большинства из них есть дети или внуки, которым они хотели бы передать русский язык. Российский культурный центр проводит разные кружки на русском языке. Но за все надо платить большие деньги. Кроме того, там довольно угнетающий дух. Все пропитано старой КГБистской системой. И принимают они только русских. Другие нации их не интересуют. Везде чувствуется национализм. Многие русскоговорящие в Будапеште живут довольно бедно и не имеют денег, чтобы оплачивать музыкальную, художественную или хореографическую школу для своих детей. В то же время, каждый нормальный родитель хотел бы, чтобы его ребенок гармонично развивался и развивал свои дарования. Эту нужду могла бы восполнить церковь. И через занятия с детьми по разным направлениям можно приводить детей и их родителей к Богу. Наша церковь очень маленькая и не имеет никакой финансовой поддержки извне. Но Бог дал видение, что в Теле Христа есть люди, способные делать эту работу для Господа, и у Него есть необходимые для этого средства. Возможно, что Господь уже положил каким-то братьям и сестрам на сердце делать подобную работу, а кому-то ее финансировать. Поэтому мы ищем тех, чье сердце откликнется на эту нужду. Также в Будапеште огромное количество русскоязычных студентов. Это в основном те, кто приехал из стран бывшего Советского Союза, чтобы получить европейское образование. Некоторые просто приехали в поисках себя или лучшей жизни. Но все они нуждаются в Боге. К сожалению, в нашей маленькой общине нет людей, способных работать с молодежью и подростками. Поскольку экономика Венгрии находится в очень плохом состоянии, люди вынуждены работать по 10 – 12 часов в день, зарплату получают за 4 часа. Зарплата 500 дол. США в Венгрии считается нормальной. Многие люди имеют меньше. Но прожить за эти деньги очень сложно. Аренда однокомнатной квартиры -300 – 350 дол. В месяц (плюс плата за свет, газ и отопление). Расходы на питание составляют 150 дол. В месяц, если покупать самые дешевые продукты и самому готовить. Для человека, получающего зарплату 500 дол., сходить в кафе – это роскошь. Поэтому, люди, которые ходят в нашу церковь, очень много работают, чтобы просто выжить. Но мы верим, что в Теле Христа есть те, чьи сердца горят для работы с молодежью и подростками. И есть средства, необходимые для осуществления этой работы. Работа с детьми нам представляется следующим образом. Проводится рекламная компания об открытии разного рода занятий с детьми разного возраста для их интеллектуального и физического развития. Цены предлагаются символические, для очень бедных семей – бесплатно. В здании церкви проводятся эти занятия. (Это сломает барьер, мешающий переступить порог церкви). Для участников кружков церковь проводит конкурсы и праздники. Постепенно и не навязчиво прививается вера в Бога. Участники кружков и их родители приглашаются на разные церковные праздники, где они знакомятся с людьми из церкви. Завязываются дружеские отношения. В результате люди приходят к Богу и присоединяются к поместной церкви. Занятия в кружках проводят миссионеры, которые стоят под авторитетом пастора поместной церкви. Миссионеры также проводят занятия в детской воскресной школе. Миссионеры вместе с лидерами церкви постоянно молятся за детей и их родителей. К этой молитве могут быть подключены члены церквей и миссий, направивших миссионеров в Будапешт. Работа с молодежью, на наш взгляд, должна происходить по другой схеме. Группа миссионеров проникает в молодежную русскоязычную среду. (Для этого есть несколько известных нам путей). Члены церкви оказывают в этом помощь. Затем завязываются знакомства, общение и дружба. Миссионеры и помогающие им члены церкви проводят постоянные молитвы за новых знакомых и друзей. Проводятся различные молодежные програмы по интересам. Постепенно образуется отдельный круг общения, который со временем должен преобразоваться в группу, которая приходит к Богу и присоединяется к церкви. Идеальный вариант, если в этой группе поднимется свой лидер. Цель: создать несколько молодежных групп, каждая со своим лидером во главе, но все они должны стать под авторитет церкви. (Работа с молодежью и подростками производится по схеме, предлагаемой Школой молодежного лидерства). Третье направление. Дети и молодежь заботятся о престарелых. Раз в месяц модые люди приходят к ним домой и помогаю по дому, приносят пакеты с продуктами питания. Раз в месяц дети и молодежь делают культурную программу для престарелых в церкви. По необходимости осуществляется индивидуальная помощь старикам. Денежные расходы на заботу о стариках берет на себя поместная церковь. Дети и молодежь вместе с миссионерами и служителями церкви молятся за стариков. Таким образом старики познают Бога и присоединяются к церкви. Четвертое направление – это венгерская молодежь. В венгерских школа очень хорошо учат английскому языку, поэтому все выпускники школ (конечно, в разной степени) разговаривают на английском. Многие из них ищут англоязычного общения, чтобы совершенствовать язык. С ними тоже можно заводить дружбу и постепенно приводить ко Христу, создавать англоязычные домашние группы. Кроме того, в Будапеште есть не мало янглоговорящих молодых людей из Великобритании и других европейских стран, которые ищут себя. Некоторые из них дают уроки английского и этим зарабатывают на жизнь. Англоязычные миссионеры могли бы проникнуть в их среду с целью проповеди Евангелия и обращения к Богу данной категории людей.
