If you havent seen, The Book Thief, I strongly recommend it. I was born in Germany in a bomb shelter during the war and it was a heart wrenching reminder for me of that place in our soul where the wounds of war are personal, no matter what side we are on. It reminded me too of how much we have to witness the personal devastation of war so we will fight with all our hearts to prevent any more violent responses to the worlds problems.
