If you live in Kumbo please sign my petition to have Jonathon Osamba freed from prison, or little Johnny as we affectionately called him. He stood before us a severely mentally retarded man in clothing he obviously found uncomfortable. His capacity for thought laid somewhere between that of an animal and a three year old. He is retarded. He is damaged. He is sick inside from so many years of utter and profound confusion. He is mystified by faucets, and newspapers and popular songs. He cannot always remember the names of his parents....but he will NOT go away...and damaged though he may be he shant wither for he is unique and irreplaceable and a part of us all. Civilizations are judged by the way that they treat theur most helpless of citizens...he is that citizen! If we turn away from him we extinguish our own light. We deny our own warmth. He is just a simple man..but he simply is a man. I beg all people of good conscience to sign my petition to overturn his conviction for the rape and murder of four women a.d to return him home to Kumbo
