If you think that thing about sandy tiger sharks is brutal, think about Religions ! ! Religions are dogmatic institutionalized Bull Crap like hardening of the arteries, only they cause hardening of the brain into believing only what you have been fed (lied to) about God since you were a young child whos brain was not developed enough to see the inconsistencies of what they say. Including the belief that you need a spiritual guide from your religion, someone who was trained in the BS that they spout and which for the most part will not help you love or feel God at all. In fact, most of the major religions teach things that are decidedly against your best interests, and against showing love towards others, including such things as 1) you can only get to God or heaven by following our way/our religion/our doctrines ; 2) you are too removed from/ estranged from God due to some sin that someone else committed so that you need us to intervene for you ; 3) you are too stupid to approach God on your own, you need our intersession or instruction to get to Him ; 4) there is some kind of boogeyman or devil or demon or satan out there that is more powerful than you and youre likely to fall for his machinations unless poor helpless you has the aid of the supposedly more spiritual people in the church to help you ; 5) other religions are wrong, and you will burn in hell if you believe in them ; 6) even if you stay in your own religion, you will burn in hell if you dont keep God appeased by giving 10% of what you earn to the church, or say your prayers and pray for forgiveness just before you die, to wipe out your sins. This list could go on and on, but basically, there seems to be such inherent evil / selfishness / emphasis on how inferior you are / how much you need the church to save you that the whole scam gets very tedious and if VERY unhealthy for your mental psychology and your spiritual development. It all seems designed to stunt your mental growth and your realization that God Is Within You and you can reach God and that you should use the mind God gave you to help you mentally discriminate between what feels real about God, versus the BS put out by most churches/priests/synagogues/rabbis/mosques/imams, etc. The Solution: Read, Read, Pray, Pray, Seek Inside, Cry and Plead with God to Reveal Himself to you, and you will find Him ! ! (no religion necessary, and there is no devil to fear, only love is real ! ! )
