If your seemingly instinctive, knee-jerk response to anything that does not conform to the accepted Westernised worldview is to deny, ridicule or feel embarrassment by association, then you have been brainwashed by a school of thought which insists that magic, mystery and miracles do not exist. If you believe “the news” is “objective truth” and that spreading “the news” is normal and acceptable, you have been brainwashed. If your apparent natural response to physical pain or mental and emotional distress is to visit a doctor or seek advice from a “pharmacist”, you have been brainwashed. If you think science has more or less solved all of the major problems and its only about fine-tuning, you have been brainwashed. If you think your life has no real purpose or meaning other than procreation and leaving behind a legacy, you have been brainwashed. If you believe you need to study and live in accordance with a specific book, you have been brainwashed. If you think anyone “knows” anything fundamental for certain, you have been brainwashed. If you are unaware that you are absolutely fundamental to this universe and that your inner self is the consciousness that moulds your universe, you are, according to the philosophical definition, a zombie.
