Im a new owner of a 2013 Volt!! #MyFirstChevy No gas in it yet after 2,000+ miles. I have a 16 mile commute here in Dallas area and with the cold I ALMOST make it home before the ICE comes on. 2 questions for the group: The car alarm goes off an hour or two after I start charging at home on the portable charger. Is it telling me something other than someone is trying to break into the car? My charge level frequently resets to reduced charging while on the portable charger vs the max charging. The GFCI nor the circuit breaker trips at home, but I am clueless and annoyed at why I have to keep changing it to MAX. Any ideas?
