Im alive. To post this. Yesterday I was in a one car accident on the way home from the lake. I had a totally awesome day followed by a totally awesome time on the lake with my BCS teammates. But on the road coming away from the lake I had a plastic bag partially filled with my street clothes fly up from the back seat. It was a bit windy yesterday and I had all the windows opened to enjoy all the fresh air. As I grabbed the bag while looking forward on the road, the wind filled it up like the auto air bag causing me to look sight of my driving and I lost control of my xTerra. I fished-tailed it four times from the right lane to the left lane being careful to not correct the steering or apply the brake. I was calm until it was over. My SUV went over both sides of the roads curbs doing 180s back and forward across both lanes. No one was immediately behind me. Thankfully. I owe my school bus and dragon boat steering skills, my awesome Niagara Sam xTerra and Gods help keeping me calm to not rolling it over four times. Sammy did lean on each side of himself which had I over-corrected would have rolled it. And seat belt OH YEAH I HAD IT ON AS ALWAYS! Im okay. My SUV is okay. Ed was surprised when I called him on my cell that I was so calm in my voice, so collected. He said I had a little bit of scared but overall I was very Honey Im okay. calm talking to him. It only took a half second if that to cause the incident. Thats all it takes folks for us to have horrific auto accidents. Faster than you can blink your eye. God is not done with me yet here on Earth. That is why I am still alive...
