Im amazed that theres even a debate in the media about drunks being arrested instead of being taken to hospitals. The police are passing the buck cos they got no space and are hiding behind a duty of care nonsense! The licensing laws need to be enforced, it is still an offence to serve anyone who is obviously the worse for drink and licensed premises law still states that a licensee should be a fit and proper person to run said premises which means ensuring that your staff refuse to serve anyone who has drunk too much or risk a fine and loss of your licence no matter how much your business might need the money!!! Leave the NHS for sick people not self inflicted piss heads!!
