Im disgusted with The Coeur dAlene Press. SHAME ON YOU BRIAN COLE & The Coeur dAlene Press! My father has worked his entire life to serve people and protect them within his scope of work and now he has ventured to build a home next to me to provide for me through my times of extreme illness. This home will also be a place for him to grow old watching his granddaughter run from his house to mine. The Press publishes the words of two individuals who would rather stew in their homes all day long and imagine how horrible my family is? Not only is that indecent, it is just poor human behavior. Im sorry my neighbors now dont have an open field in front of them and my dads new shop is obstructing that view. But Im also not, because such is life and damn it - my dad has worked countless hours, passionately, to provide for his family and him building on this lot is him putting his tireless efforts into fruition. The absolute joy my dad has shown in bringing this project of a family plot of property in motion brings me to tears. My dad cares deeply for people and what is right. He does not take advantage of people or things. For the Press to put such a slant on him for someone to think otherwise is a horrible thing. Please think of what your words can do to a man, his daughters, his wife, his sisters and brothers, a workplace before you take the words of two grouchy, horribly vulgar neighbors and put them on your front page. You are guilty of leading people to unfounded conclusions and it is a poor, poor representation of a community I love.
