Im driving home from work, almost home and I see a dog on the sidewalk not moving as cars are passing by. I notice no person is around the dog either. As I pass I noticed he appears to be stuck. So I turn around, go back to the dog, shine my lights on him. He looks like he is stuck on some leash. I park, get out of my car and find the dog tied up! He has a leash and cable tied around his waist, tight, in a knot, then the cable is tied around a light post! I loosen the cable and leash around his waist. He is free, licks me and jumps on me! I called animal control and they came right away. I happened to have bottles water AND dog food in the back as I just bought some earlier in the day on my way to work. So anyway, I gave him some food and water as we waited for he animal control. Oh did I mention this was a puppy, big puppy, probably a six month old husky. Sweet pup! Animal control has him now. Hopefully he will get a good home. Oh then my car wouldnt start; my battery died while I kept my headlights on waiting for animal control, LOL! My wonderful husband came and rescued me! What an evening!
