Im listening to these guys project Thunder. Three bass players Stanley Clark, Marcus Miller n Victor Wooten) at one go, that sounds like World war 3 lol! The nice thing is that they compliment each other, they dont try to outplay each other, n u get to hear a wide range of bass concepts n techniques that ud normally not hear in their individual projects. They also play Miles Daviss Tutu, but a funked up version where Clark plays an upright bass, Miller playing a bass clarinet. Im sure they had tons of fun in studio recording this album. There is this Interlude titled Lemme try your Bass, I assume one was messing around with another ones bass n came up with this piece lol! If u like funk-jazz then this may be ur album.
