Im not going to discuss Ebola any more. My position has always - TopicsExpress

Im not going to discuss Ebola any more. My position has always been that the US needs a remote island with state of the art medical facilities, to act as quarantine for any contagious disease: Drug-resistant TB; new strains of influenza, Ebola, small pox, yellow fever, dengue fever - anything contracted by a US citizen abroad that should be kept in quarantine. The concept that existed until the middle of the 20th Century, in other words. There is no sense in continuing the discussion. CDC has decided, in its wisdom, to put these state of the art clinics *not* in remote places, but in Atlanta, New York City, and other places. Done deal. Therefore the discussion is over, it being a done deal. And, repeating, for the record - disagreeing with policy on communicable disease is *not* panic. Calling this discussion panic is exactly the same thing as calling any discussion of Obamas policies racism. Stop it.
