Im not going to lie, this actually hits hard. Theyre THE band that got me into the entire post-hardcore scene, even if they were just a joke band. Geeving holds a special place in my heart and so does Infamous. Brothers For Life is practically Ty Mertz and Is anthem. Back in 2010 Geeving got me into other bands like I See Stars, For All Those Sleeping, Asking Alexandria, the like. Abandon All Ships was a gateway band for me. Honestly I did see this coming, their relevancy and popularity dropped out bar-none and the only consistent members were Angelo and Martin. Im sure Martin will find a new band as will the rest. And even if their last record really wasnt the best, I admit this honestly sucks. They couldnt keep a line-up but they tried hard to still be AAS. But one thing a party band should NEVER try to do, in all seriousness, is mature. RIP Abandon All Ships
