Im not one for New Years resolutions, but after a phone call I received today I decided to make one. This summer I had the pleasure of working under and learning from our skipper, oscar. He taught me so much from how to BBQ corn on the cob correctly to how to change the engine oil. He impacted my life this summer more than I think either of us will know simply because we sat down and chatted every single day. And when he called me to see how Ive been and to wish me a merry Christmas today I know I must have impacted his life as well. So this year my resolution is going to be to get to know more people and allow them to make an impact on my life, and in return try to leave a positive impact on theirs as well. 2014, youve given me so much experience, new friendships, and new dreams but 2015 holds too many new adventures to dwell on the past! Happy new year folks ! :)
