Im not seeing enough recipes in here that involve dead animals. Lets fix that! Pasta Carbonara: I use one egg per person for the sauce because its great. Put water on and start that to boil. While thats heating, dice up some bacon (or better, pork belly if you have it) and throw it on a pan to start rendering. Low heat for a while, you want the fat to really render out. While the waters heating and the pork is rendering, mix in as many eggs as you have people in a container with some parsley (a lot of parsley) and basil, and top it with a generous handful of good parmesan. Or bad parmesan. Stir that up until its nice and mixed together. Now, hopefully your water is boiling by now. Add noodles. Whatever kind, however many you want to eat. Fettucini noodles are the traditional here. Salt the water a little so they dont get all awful and bland and let them go. Once the pork has rendered a little and theres a good amount of grease in the pan, take it off the heat and dump in your egg/cheese/leafy stuff mixture and stir it like crazy. The eggs will want to scramble. You do not want those little bastards to scramble, but they will try. Stir it for a bit and theyll become unctuous and delicious instead - once its kind of a uniform consistency, youre good to go. Finish noodles. Top with sauce, and a pinch of crushed red pepper (or hotter peppers if youre awesome, or black pepper if you have the mouth of a baby). Fin.
