Im not super upset about the Obama Paris thing because its all just so typically French (read: pointless). For a decade theyve looked down their noses at the Americans as we cracked down on islamofascists at home and around the world. Meanwhile, increasing parts of Paris have dressed in Burqa-Nouveau while the French have lectured us about multiculturalism and resisted our militarys pursuit of islamofascists worldwide. Now they finally get hit in the most predictable way - an attack on one of their beloved satirical newspapers. What is their response? Obviously, they sent a battalion of Inspector Clouseaus haplessly chasing the terrorists through Jewish neighborhoods with the Hollywood-predictable mayhem. When eventually the circus ends, what do they do to show the world that the French are not to be trifled with? They all join hands in the street and burst into song like a scene from Dr. Seuss. Thank God France re-joined NATO in 2009, what on Earth would we do without this fearsome nation?
