Im pastor on call at my church this week. Man its been really busy! But theres nothing so rewarding as being able to just sit with people and listen to them. Lots of hard stories, but strangely I always walk away lifted up with hope. Where there is affliction and hardship, there is beyond it the Hand of God to reshape and transform. So I sit, not needing to fix, rescue or preach; just excited for whats coming next in the life of the person in front of me. And extremely honored to have a small moment in their journey.
