Im planning a going away party Everyone is invited! The guest of honor is my memory or at least the short term memory. Yes, it is slowly but surely going away. Today I turned on the faucet to the big sink in the laundry room, put the plug, threw in some cleaning rags in to soak and walked away. Much later, I kept hearing what I thought was the washing machine filling up. In my defense, I DO remember starting a load of clothes. I decided I better go investigate. Yep, the sink was overflowing, the laundry room was flooding. My sweet Richie spent a good part of the day taking up the indoor/outdoor carpet, drying the carpet,pulling the dryer outside and moving the washing machine out so we could suck up ALL the water with the shop vac, and finally having to put everything back. I am always doing multiple things at one time. Conclusion: I think my day of multi-tasking are over! How will I carry on?? My body is not ready to slow down, but the mind, well it is having a difficult time keeping up with me!
