Im reminded about this song this morning. Several years ago, i decided to pray to seek God. I prayed earnestly for Jesus to show Himself to me. Abt 4 hrs into my prayer locked in a room, suddenly, i saw a relatively big figure, tanned middle eastern person with dark hair, looked straight into my eyes with a crown on his head. I saw blood streaming down from his forehead n scars w blood oozing from them. It was not my imagination. I was shocked because Jesus was just inches away before me. And He vanished when i tried to figure out what was going on. I dont need to make up story to tell u God is real. I was against christians since young because i hated them. Being very pious in another faith, i became so good for that religion that i emerged no. 1 during most exams, usually 95/100 and above, among a number of schools. God has His plans. I had my crisis in life but could not get any help from whom i worshipped. Until a frd encouraged me to attend Encounter God weekend organised by FCBC, Jesus showed up. I was lifted up into a heavenly realm where i saw Jesus face to face for the first time. I never had thought Jesus was real and that a God who really loves me. He told me so many things and asked me to share with all the people my experience, because He loves them, wanting all to come back to Him. I pray, you too, give yourself a chance to go to a bible based church to know and experience who this God is. God loves you. God bless u.
