Im sharing words of wisdom. I had been to a skin cancer clinic to have an odd thing behind my knee checked. They told me it was nothing and not to worry. I didnt believe it as it didnt feel right. So I showed my Gp who freaked out at me. Well she thought it was bad enough to make me come back in her lunch break to have it cut out. The nurse kindly tells me this is the biggest skin cancer they have ever removed in the surgery...just to reassure me! Well Im not supposed to walk for a couple of weeks...like hell my fitbit would freak! Ironically while it was being cut out the only thing I asked about was how long until I could go to the beach. But now I have to wait for the results...it wont be melanoma! But the motto of my tale, if you think something is wrong get a second opinion or third if you have to. You know your body. Xx
