Im sitting here on the phone with Leslie Arnette-PinaLeslie and I were reflecting on the news we just received. Richard Nichols the best manager I ever had just made his final transition. Rich believed in us all. He gave to us all. We all owe Mr. Nichols a standing ovation. If not for him, no one would know who any of us are. We, all of us exist because Rich said so. Thats just the way it is. He spoke our futures into existence. Roll Call ... The Roots, Dice Raw, Jaguar Wright, The Jazziefatnastees, Kindred Thefamily Soul, 370009, FloBrown, 5th dynasty, Jam Boys, Patty Crash, Khari Mattine, Watch Your Back management group, Motive Records, Jill Scott, Scott Storch, Leslie Arnette-Pina, D Ryva Parker, jasmine Sullivan, Lady Alma Horton, and the list goes on and on and on. One of the greatest human beings just departed from this earth; to share his audacious energy with the universe. From now on at night, when I look up at the stars, Ill know the newest, brightest shining one is Rich. Thank you for being cause in the matter of my very privileged existence. Denials, Delusions, and Decisions was named album of the decade because you stood for me when no one else did. That album is just as much Rich Nichols accomplishment as it is mine own. You will forever remain. Condolences to the Martinez - Nichols family. We know what youve been physically separated from; and we also know what you sacrificed by sharing him with all of us so earnestly. This is a tribute that will never end; and it will live the rest of our lifetimes through. Give thanks! Ps .... I love you Midi! Im here. #RIPRICH
